Annual spraying of Plateau herbicide to control cheat grass has been scheduled for Saturday, Nov 7th. Signs will be posted closing the sprayed areas; please stay out of those areas until signs have been removed. Areas to be sprayed include primary and secondary footpaths of the Starwood trail system, the Dog Park, the perimeter trail around Galaxy Park, the perimeter of both East and West green areas, as well as the roadsides along Starwood Drive. Last year's spraying resulted in significant reduction in cheat grass. This makes Starwood trails safer for our pets, our children, and also reduces fire fuels in the common area.
